  We drove over an hour to take family to your restaurant. Your add and answering machine said you opened at 5 pm. We even waited til after the time and you didn't open. So thy missed out on trying your food. We had eaten there before and wanted to share the experience.☹️

  The items offered on the limited menu were average, but it would have been nice to have a wider selection of German foods to choose from (basically, Bratwurst and Jaeger Schnitzel).
  
  Unfortunately, when we arrived at the posted opening time, the small restaurant was locked and there was no one around; we waited a short time and then drove to a nearby town and looked around for awhile and on our way to Meridian to find an alternative for lunch we noticed that Zur Autobahn was now open. When we entered the restaurant we couldn't help but feel that the staff of one (the owner) would have preferred to have been left alone in her restaurant. She wasn't mean, but avoided conversation and eye contact. She took our order and cooked it herself. As I mentioned above, it wasn't bad, but was certainly nothing special. Our party of 3 agreed that we felt like we were imposing on her.
  
  This certainly could have been a one-off unfortunate experience, but we haven't been inclined to return.
